Course Project and Preparatory Year - An Integrated Path to Youth Empowerment
The Masak Project and the Preparatory Year are two integrated programs that aim to empower Arab youth and prepare them for a successful academic and professional future. The Masak Project constitutes the first phase, targeting twelfth-grade students (15-17 years old). It focuses on developing life skills, building self-identity, and enhancing academic and professional capabilities through weekly meetings that include interactive workshops, exploring career paths, and developing personal and social capabilities. After completing the Masak Project, participants continue on to the Preparatory Year, which constitutes the second phase of this track. This phase includes intensive academic guidance, individual consultations, university visits, and preparatory courses in psychometrics, English, and Hebrew. This year also includes developing self-management skills, building a CV, financial planning, and dealing with labor market challenges, helping them make informed decisions about their educational and professional future. The third stage, the integration year, represents the practical application of what young people have learned in the previous two stages, as they are integrated into academic or professional environments, with follow-up and support to successfully complete their careers. Thus, the Masakr project and the preparatory year provide a comprehensive path that enables young people to build a clear, stable future that suits their abilities and ambitions, by combining academic guidance, personal development, and community engagement.
