Academic Orientation Transition Year - Lod

The preparatory year in Lod began in 2006 with the first cohort, and participants were accompanied for a full year until they successfully entered the world of academia. Since then, Citizens Building Society has continued to build a promising generation capable of progress and excellence.

During this journey, we have succeeded in integrating more than 400 participants into academic institutions, so that they can continue their educational and professional careers with confidence and success. Today, we proudly welcome the 18th cohort of 30 participants in an integrated program aimed at shaping their personalities and enhancing their capabilities.

The program includes pivotal courses such as: Pyschometric course, Hebrew course, English course, English course, and preparation meetings for the Yael exam, in addition to quality workshops on dreaming, the future, and self-development. The program also includes motivational lectures and visits to universities and colleges, in addition to community initiatives that instill in participants the spirit of belonging and giving.

Participants also receive individual and group counseling, as well as personality screening tests, to ensure that they choose the most appropriate specialization in the world of academia. The main purpose of the preparatory year is to enable young people to integrate into higher education, while ensuring acceptance and aligning their personalities and educational attainment with the needs of the labor market.
